Specialized Orthopedic Services
Our orthopedic practice provides a variety of specialized clinical, diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic service including:
Elbow & Shoulder
Shoulder pain and injuries are extremely common – whether due to exercise, age, overuse injuries or trauma. In fact, they account for nearly 20 percent of visits to the doctor’s office. When shoulder pain interferes with your ability to do the things you need to each day, it’s time to seek medical advice.
Knee
When the pain is limiting your ability to perform normal daily activities or the ability to do the things you love, it’s time to seek medical advice. This can be due to an athletic injury or just natural wear and tear.
Hip
Common hip problems include: arthritis, bursitis, and sciatica. We can diagnose the cause and recommend the appropriate treatment.
Spine
When the pain is limiting your ability to perform activities of daily living for the things you love, it’s time to seek medical advice. This can be due to a traumatic injury or just natural wear and tear in your every day life.
Wrist & Hand
With how much we rely on our hands, there’s no wonder hand and wrist pain can be so disabling and frustrating. When this pain interferes with typing on your computer, spending time on your hobbies or even getting yourself ready in the morning, it’s time to seek medical advice.
Foot & Ankle
The average person will walk the equivalent of four times around the world in his or her lifetime. So it’s hardly surprising that nearly three-quarters of Americans will eventually experience some type of foot or ankle problem.

We provide many diagnostic services to include arthroscopy, open MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, EMG, and x-rays.

Diagnostic Services

Arthroscopy
Arthroscopy is the most common thing we do in orthopedics. It is minimally invasive, performed through a camera and small 1 centimeter incisions. It can be both diagnostic and curative. Many times we don’t know the exact problem until we can view it directly with the camera.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
We are proud to offer an open MRI. It is open on the sides and in a large room with large windows and a sound system for music of your choice. It can image any body part in great detail and diagnose many problems that can’t be seen on x-ray. The open MRI is also ideal for larger people and claustrophobia as our unit has one of the widest imaging spaces.
Radiology
We provide digital x-rays of any body part. Self pay and x-rays ordered at other offices can be done here as well. We also have fluoroscopy (moving x-ray) and ultrasound services available.
Electromyography (EMG)
About The Procedure:
EMG is usually performed on an outpatient basis and will vary based on your condition or doctor. This test is sometimes following a nerve conduction study. A typical EMG follows the process below:
- First, you’ ll be asked to remove any clothing, jewelry, hairpins, eyeglasses, hearing aids, or other metal objects that may interfere with the procedure.
- You’ll sit or lie down and your doctor will locate the muscle to study. The skin will be cleansed with an antiseptic solution, the needle will be sterilized, then it will be inserted into the muscle.
- A ground electrode will be positioned under your arm or leg. Five or more needle insertions may be necessary for the test. You may experience slight pain when the electrode is inserted.
- You will be asked to relax and then perform slight or full-strength muscle contractions. The electrical activity from your working muscle will be measured and displayed on the monitor.
